Founded on the entrepreneurial legacy of Fethi Şimşek, KEF Investment Group traces its roots to 1981 - when a chemistry teacher in Turkey began building educational institutions from the ground up. Over four decades, that vision expanded from education into healthcare, construction, international trade, consumer brands, agriculture, and industrial ventures across Turkey and the United Kingdom. Today, KEF operates as an integrated Family Office and Holding Company, deploying patient capital into pre-seed technology ventures and strategic investments across technology, industrial technologies, agriculture, energy, education, and financial services - combining institutional rigour with founder-aligned conviction.

Fethi Şimşek

Founder & Former Chairman

Fethi Şimşek is the founding visionary of KEF Investment Group. Beginning in the 1980s with textile trade between Turkey and Europe, he built a diversified enterprise spanning construction, education, healthcare, and philanthropy across Turkey and the United Kingdom. His entrepreneurial legacy and values continue to guide KEF's strategic direction today.

Muhammed Kerem Şimşek

Chairman | Construction & Strategic Development

Muhammed Kerem Şimşek is a visionary leader with extensive experience in construction, architecture, and cross-border project development in both the United Kingdom and Turkey. He has led major initiatives through Kesim Yapı and Pen-Plan, contributing to the growth of innovative structural and architectural investments.

Educated in New Zealand and the United Kingdom in Management and International Trade, Kerem has been engaged in education and sports-focused initiatives since his early years. As Chairman of KEF Investment Group, he brings global perspective, disciplined governance, and long-term strategic leadership to the family's investment platform.

Fatih Şimşek

Vice Chairman | Healthcare, Biosciences & Venture Investing

Fatih Şimşek is an entrepreneur and investor specializing in healthcare, medical technologies, and biosciences. Based between the UK and Turkey, he has founded and led ventures including Imperial, Bio-Science, Luna Microcare, and other health-driven initiatives.

Having completed his education in Canada and the United Kingdom, Fatih is known for his active engagement in early-stage venture ecosystems and his support of seed and pre-seed startups. His investment approach reflects KEF's commitment to innovation, scientific progress, and globally scalable healthcare solutions.

Kübra Şimşek Sertkaya

Board Member | Social Impact & Cultural Initiatives

Kübra Şimşek Sertkaya is a philanthropic businesswoman, entrepreneur, and mother of two, with a professional background spanning design, hospitality, and cultural ventures. She has founded and managed initiatives in the restaurant and creative industries, combining entrepreneurship with community-oriented leadership.

She also plays an active role in the governance of the Doğa and Dünya Foundations, supporting social responsibility and long-term impact projects. Currently pursuing her doctoral studies, Kübra is deeply committed to academia and lifelong learning, representing KEF's values of education, culture, and sustainable contribution.

Said Şimşek

Said Şimşek is widely recognized for his dedication to humanitarian work and charitable development. He played a foundational role in the establishment and leadership of the Merhem Association, contributing significantly to global relief efforts and community-based aid programs.
